PB&J sandwiches are now considered racist!

Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches.  Who doesn’t love them, right?

Well my boyfriend told me about this story he heard on the news, about a school banning peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because it was considered RACIST!  I told him this had to be a joke.. he said it wasn’t.  So I had to investigate.

The principal of this school in Portland, OR is claiming the sandwich is racist, because other students such as Hispanic and Somali cannot eat PB&J sandwiches.  Apparently, only “whites” eat PB&J.

What is this world coming to?

Earlier today, I read about this story from RI – where Father/Daughter dances are now banned, because it discriminates against children of single mothers.  UNBELIEVABLE!

Wegmans, a local grocery store here hired a Muslim cashier, and there is a sign on her register stating if you have pork products or alcohol to please go to another register, because she cannot handle pork or alcohol products due to being Muslim.   You know what?  I think I’M OFFENDED by that selfishness!  If you can’t handle pork products, why would you work there and inconvenience customers?    Why not get a job somewhere else?

What are your thoughts on all this insanity?  Last I checked, this was still America.  But I do not like what it is turning into.
